My husband is a devoted and well-respected talmid chochom. He used to go out to
learn every day for many hours, until he was struck with a severe eye disease
that causes gradual vision loss. He now is completely blind.
My life has never been the same. We are facing poverty and a lack of support.
Our daughter will be
getting married in less than a month and we have not yet bought her anything.
The stress and anxiety
that we are facing is hard to imagine.
We need to borrow thousands of shekels from our neighbors to pay for the chasuna.
It is a great shame to ask to borrow money, and I have no way of paying them
back!
Please spare me the
embarrassment!
I ask you from the depths of my heart to please contribute generously to my
daughter’s kallah fund so that I do not need to resort to knocking on doors.
כל המרחם על הבריות מרחמים
עליו מן השמים!
You should merit all the
brachos of the Torah in ruchanios and gashmios forever.
Send me your name and
request so that my daughter, the Kallah, can daven for you.
