Hello,
My name is Nachman and I lived in Yerushalayim.
I supported my family, which grew to nine children, through my work as a Sofer
STAM. I never needed more than I made, and the simple lifestyle was good for
all of us.
We owned our own apartment, 40 square meters,
which was just about enough for us. However, however idyllic, this situation has
come to a gradual end. My work as a Sofer could not last, because of a chronic
inflammation in the joints of my shoulder and wrist. I still work as a Sofer, I
have no choice, but I cannot produce anywhere near as much as I used to, and my
expenses have not lessened.
Eventually, we were required to sell our house to
pay off our debts. We moved into my parents in law’s house, where we have lived
for some years. The crowding is unbearable, the children all sleep on the floor
of the dining room. When brothers in law want to come for Shabbos, we are like
sardines in a can. This is not a temporary situation, this has been going on
for some years, but it is completely untenable.
Please, I am begging you! Help me to alleviate my situation.
This Zechus will be yours forever, it will
accompany you in your lifetime to ensure that your family will always have
sufficient for its needs, and you will see much nachas from your children and
grandchildren. You will be healthy, happy, and fortunate, and you will merit a
long life.
Thank you
Nachman
