My Dear Brothers and Sisters,
About a year ago, we were blessed with a precious baby boy only to learn he was born with a rare and severe heart defect. Our tiny baby underwent open-heart surgery and had a stent placed in his heart. Baruch Hashem, he survived.
But now, our nightmare has deepened. Little Aharon Tzvi barely a year old, after everything his body has already endured has been hospitalized with pneumonia, For a child with a fragile heart and a stent, this is a life-threatening crisis.
The mounting costs of cardiac surgery, the stent, hospitalization, and ongoing treatments are far beyond what we can manage alone.
